The experience Azerbaijan campaign uses posters of the country to advertise the country as a tourism destination, they also used billboards at the Baku F1 Grand Prix with the hashtag experience Azerbaijan. This is also used as a slogan because it is short and snappy so it sticks in peoples heads and is small enough as a hashtag to be used on social media which is mostly used by younger people
Since Azerbaijan is a new and emerging tourism destination it targets younger people because they are more likely to visit a lesser know country. This is why they used billboards at the F1 event because most F1 viewers are younger. They also targeted the middle eastern audience due to their close proximity to the country and disposable income. The campaign is targeting people of a higher level of education because one of the focus points of the campaign is the history and architecture of the country, specifically in Baku. Also
